Feng Shui For Estate Marketeers

The modern age has thrown in more and more challenges for men to test the already tested knowledge and art.

Feng shui, an ancient art form developed by the Chinese, has proved to be very fruitful in improving the quality of life. It has found its utility in almost all the spheres of life and society as whole.

People are constantly trying to use and be benefited from this art form and technique to address their diverse problems they face in the competitive world.

The estate market is one such area where the competition is cut throat. Feng shui has found its utilisation in this field as well.

The estate marketer can use this technique to promote the house or estate and get a good bargain at a short time. Some feng shui art form or techniques that should be given proper attention to attract and impress the prospective buyers are as follows:

Entrance of the house – According to the feng shui, , the entrance should be given proper importance to draw the attention of the buyer. It should be well-lit and easy to mark.

The front door should be attractive enough to create the desired impression. For that matter, the house and block numbers should also be clearly discernible. The entrance should also have a welcome sign in the form of a pot of flower or plants. It can even have a welcome statue or a mat.

The colour of the front door should also be attractive. Plants can also be hung from baskets on the wall of the veranda. Feng shui art recommends all these things, as it is believed that they lift the positive energy or chi.

Clean the bushes – Feng shui forbids the presence of long uncut bushes and shrubs in front of the house as it has a ‘driving away’ effect on the customer. The plants and bushes should be cut properly to eliminate their angularity.

Interior of the house – As per the feng shui theory, the interior of the house should have a free flowing passage devoid of any obstacles. The objects should be placed in such a way that they do not inhibit the movement of the person who enters.

If any wall or any other solid object is present on the path near the entrance, then it should be covered with a picture or a mirror, which would take the customer’s attention away from it and also acts in a positive way in lifting the spirit.

These are subtle things that feng shui recommends should be diligently arranged to keep the prospective buyer interested.

Make the house clutter free – This is an important aspect that feng shui recommends to attract the potential buyer as it keeps the stagnant energy. The clutter can either be passive or active.

The active clutters are easily discernible like the careless keeping of the objects and things used in daily life. They may be toys of the children, pens, pencils, books, toothbrushes, combs, etc.

These are some of the feng shui tips that should be taken into account for any estate marketer and anybody who wants sell his home.
